How I work

My approach is inclusive and collaborative, shaped by your unique perspective and circumstances. I draw from humanistic, existential, and contemporary psychodynamic approaches, alongside trauma-informed practice. This means I consider the social, cultural, and psychological factors that influence your experience, while keeping your needs at the centre.

The here-and-now often carries echoes of the past. By gently exploring these patterns, new possibilities for being, relating, and living can emerge. Therapy can help untangle what feels stuck, opening space for new choices and perspectives. My intention is to support you at a pace that feels right for you, always led by compassion and gentleness.

I believe the relationship between therapist and client is the foundation of effective therapy. Together we will develop a strong, safe alliance that allows exploration, curiosity, and challenge to unfold in a supportive way. I aim to nurture your agency, autonomy, and sense of ownership over the process, so therapy feels like something we build together, not something that is done to you.

In addition to traditional therapy in the room, I also offer eco-therapy and walk-and-talk sessions. For some clients, being outdoors can create a sense of grounding and perspective that is different from sitting inside. Walking side by side can feel less intense than talking face to face, and nature often helps bring clarity, calm, or even creativity to the process. We will agree together on what feels safe, supportive, and right for you.

My diverse life and work experiences have given me resilience, adaptability, and empathy. I will walk alongside you as a kind and steady witness, offering a non-judgemental space to meet you where you are and accompany you in the process of change.
