How I work
My approach is inclusive and collaborative, shaped by your unique perspective and circumstances. I draw from humanistic, existential, and contemporary psychodynamic approaches, alongside trauma-informed practice. I consider the social, cultural, and psychological factors that influence your experience. All while keeping your needs at the centre.
The here-and-now often carries echoes of the past. By gently exploring these patterns, new possibilities for being, relating, and living can emerge. Therapy can help untangle what feels stuck, opening space for new choices and perspectives. My intention is to support you at a pace that feels right for you, always led by compassion and gentleness.
The relationship between therapist and client is the foundation of effective therapy. My goal is to develop a strong, safe alliance allowing exploration, curiosity, and challenge to unfold in a supportive way. I aim to nurture your agency, autonomy, and sense of ownership over the process. Therapy feels like something we build together, not something imposed on you.
I also offer eco-therapy and walk-and-talk sessions. For some clients, being outdoors creates a sense of grounding and perspective. Walking side by side can feel less intense than talking face to face, and nature often helps bring clarity, calm, or even creativity to the process. We will agree together on what feels safe, supportive, and right for you.
My diverse life and work experiences have given me resilience, adaptability, and empathy. I'll walk alongside you as a kind and steady witness. I offer a non-judgemental space to meet you where you are and accompany you in the process of change.
