Why therapy, Why now ?

We live in a world that encourages us to keep pushing, stay busy, and carry on smiling. Even when inside we’re tired, anxious, or overwhelmed. In a culture that often rewards productivity over well-being, many of us learn to mask our emotions, hide who we really are, and keep going, even when it costs us.

Sometimes the signs are clear. Like worry that won’t settle, exhaustion that doesn’t lift, or the weight of sadness, shame, or self-criticism. Other times it’s less obvious: a quiet sense that something feels “off,” even when things look fine on the outside.

If you’re reading this, it may be because part of you already knows you’d like something to change. That’s not weakness, it’s self-awareness. And it’s a meaningful first step.

Therapy is not about “fixing” you because you are not broken. It’s about creating a safe, consistent space that’s fully yours. A space to be heard without judgment, to process what feels too heavy to carry alone, and to begin finding new ways forward.

Starting therapy can feel daunting, but you don’t need to have everything figured out before reaching out. My role is to walk alongside you, at your pace, offering a kind and steady presence as you explore what matters most to you.
